Snoring is a serious symptom. It is often a sign of sleep apnea. Get a sleep study.

You have to ask your sleeping partner have you ever stopped breathing for a while out of sudden between your snoring at sleep. You should see doctor for the first move to confirm either you really have sleep apnoea. Obesity, obstruction in the nose (i.e polyp, deviated or enlarged turbinate), small mouth or enlarged tonsil are the probable causes of snoring with sleep apnea. Therefore, you need proper appropriate examination to rule out the possible pathology for you to proceed with further management by the doctor according to the causes.

Try sleeping on your side. Also, humidifiers work, according to research on snoring.
