She definately sounds like she’s straining for air here. Has she ever had a “sleep-study” done? Plus sleeping on the back is not good for people that snore. Plus you said she drinks a lot, so she may vomit & that could choke her death especially if she’s on her back. She needs to see a doc for sure! God Bless you & her!
I’m no sleep expert but that is as good an explaination as I’ve heard. Also she snore louder and more worrisome sounding than anyone I’ve ever heard. What is strange and scary is that there are long pauses where she doesn’t even breathe. I have woke her because I was concerned she would die. But considering this happens every night it is probably just natural for her. Damn, I can’t believe she doesn’t wake up… Crazy!

Is she a heavy drinker? people who drink heavily tend to have sleep apnea problems?
