Sleeping on back is a better first step. All too often, an ENT doctor may just want to permanently remove a vital part of the immune system (tonsils).
They breathe a lot easier on their backs, which is why they are not supposed to go to sleep on their bellies.

Again, adenoids or tonsils, get it checked out with an ENT doctor.
